Types of newspaper –
Tabloid – formal – cheaper – more colour – gossipy -
Broadsheet – informal – more paper, more expensive – more serious (politics)

Broadsheet examples - Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Sunday times, The Guardian.
Tabloid examples – The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily express.

Tabloid: humour, bold flashy headlines, puns, masthead, white text on red backgrounds, strange/striking pictures, celebrities, cheap, short text. Clear bias on stories.
Broadsheets: more serious, more straightforward/no bias, less messy than tabloids, no humour, smaller text, fancier font.
